Hello,
You can check the ignition switch by seeing if power is present on fuse 30 at the end of the dash when key is in start position. This fuse is after the switch and before the neutral safety switch. If it has power and car doesn't start the ignition switch should be fine.
If you can get on the yellow trigger wire for the starter you can check the entire system up to the starter. If you have voltage there and the car doesn't start it is the solenoid or the starter itself. Good Luck, Bernie
