For the past seven months, I've been driving a certified pre-owned 2000 9-5 that I purchased back at the end of November of last year. The car is really great, and I like it a lot, but there are some issues that keep popping up that I can't seem to get a resolution on. Any help on any of these issues is greatly appreciated!

1) The car seems to take a long time to turn over and start at certain times. It happens sporadically, and I haven't been able to nail down any particular times or causes for this problem. It so far hasn't failed to start, but I'm concerned that it might one time. I've brought it into two seperate dealerships several times, and at this point there doesn't seem to be anything more they can do for me. I don't know if this is related or not, but in the 7 months I've had this car the check engine light has already come on twice (and both times the spark plugs and DI cassette were replaced).
2) When I purchased the car, they could only find one key, so I asked if they could order a second key that was an integrated remote and I would pay the difference between how much a regular key costs and the integrated key remote (they were planning on getting me a second key for free). Now that I've had this integrated remote/key for a while, I've discovered that the range on it is absolutely terrble. With the banana remotes, I can be standing 40 or more feet away and they will usually work, but with this integrated key/remote, I have to be practically on top of the car for it to work, and even then it still sometimes doesn't. Has anyone had any similar experiences? Saab USA states that the integrated key/remote has a maximum range of 5-10 feet, which I find completely ridiculous, but I can't seem to get any more help out of them.
3) Once or twice in the past few months, I've gotten into the car, manually locked the doors with the button on the dash, started the car, and all the doors pop unlocked. It happens very rarely, but it is still an issue because you never know when it could happen in a situation when it would be problematic; plus, whats the point of locking the doors if they just unlock when the car starts. Has anyone else run into something similar to this?

Other than these problems, the car is great, and I'm really enjoying it!! Any help or information regarding these issues is greatly appreciated!! Thanks again,

- marc
