Sounds like I was one of the luckier ones. My DI cassette went out at 126K and it was only one ignition coil that went, so I was still limping on 3 cylinders when it went. Now I am wondering whether I should hang on to the old 3 cylinder broken one in case the new one goes.
I am also wondering whether I should replace the Champion platinum plugs I put in because that was all the local auto parts store had in stock with NGK.
