seals are available, they're just very difficult to install. It's not uncommon to break the plastic on the reservoir trying to install the seals.

More importantly, it makes me wonder why the seals are leaking...perhaps a fluid incompatibility. Is the brake fluid in the reservoir black? Does it turn black in several weeks after you flush the brake system? If so, dhances are the seals used in the Girling master cylinder are reacting with the brake fluid used. The next thing you can expect to happen is the pedal sinks slowly to the floor at a stoplight.

I had such a problem on the OEM reservoir, was unable to replace the seals on the leaking reservoir, went to a new m/c which failed in 14-16 months (pedal went to floor slowly). So when I put on the second replacement Girling master cylinder, I used ATE brake fluid rather than Castrol LMA DOT4. I have since changed all my vehicles to ATE brake fluid even though the volvos haven't experienced this problem. However, the volvos use Girling master cylinders and I don't want the same problems.

Castrol LMA DOT4 may work fine for you...I'm just saying it ate up my Girling master cylinder seals and Saab didn't do a $#W#@$%# thing about it.
