compressor oil is a good neutral oil, no detergents. I'd use it in gear box as buffer flush run, when switching from one synth to another. Synth's can have diff base stocks. I also run reg motor oil in engine, as a flush run switching from one synth to another. (It took about 3 loads to purge out all the krud castrol snth had left over the years of use...)

MTL is synthetic gear oil, MTF may be .... I'd use compr oil between. Note this is somewhat fanantical/excesive behavior ....

Honda MTF and MTL are both simular in function, nice light GL4 gear oils designed specifically for excellent shifting in transmissions. If you push mega power, best to compromise shifting a bit and get more viscosity ... for that I prefer NEO 75W90 GL5 synthetic ... still shifts pretty well.

DON'T ever use Redline 75W90NS .... it will crunch on every shift.
