Well this local guy who had his '90 Saab 900S for sale contacted his cousin which is one of my residents (I am an RA) to see if I would be interested in buying it from him.

The things that concern me:

1-AUTO
2-Bash in pass door...see pic (but only on door area)
3-Poor quality of headlight (cracked/taped etc..)
4-Bumper Condition (Front)

I know that when i saw it on the side of te road he was asking 1200 (nuts!). I was thinking of offering 500ish. Oh, car has 78k on it. Interior is in pretty good shape, just dirty.

Buy it and fix it up then sell it? I would probably add it to my Saab family, but I do not need another Saab since I am here at school. So I am thinking, a-get it and sell it or b-get it fix it up then sell it. I know most of the pitfalls of the 2.0L auto's and how they are DOGS.

Maybe a '90 900S in the works.

All this depends on the testdrive, and how willing he is able to come down on the price. I know that he wants/needs to get rid of it! (It's been for sale for almost 3-4 months now. Oh and no rust! And it does need a headliner.
