If the ignition module either doesn't get a signal from the hall effect sensor (and thereby doesn't have a signal to send to the ECU) or the ignition module is dead, the ECU won't know start the fuel pump.

If you don't see anything at the injectors, it doesn't necessarily mean that the ECU is dead.

So, our fault tree goes: Hall Effect Sensor/Connector, Ignition Module, ECU (including ECU grounds, ECU power), Fuel Pump Relay, System Relay.

An easy way to check it, especially if you have *any* C900 LH 2.4 ECU ('88 - '90 900S, '89 -93 900T [and '94 900T convertible) sitting around keeping important papers from blowing away or holding a door open, swap it with the old one and see what happens. My '89 SPG is running very nicely with an ECU from a '90 900S. I think that an LH 2.4 ECU from a 9k will work too - I have one sitting around that I'll swap in when I have time.
