Throttle position sensor is adjustable; if you're familiar with taking up slack in bicycle brake cables, then it's the same thing. What you want is to give the accel. cable just enough slack to let the TPS click into the idle position when you're off the gas. There is a threaded collar at the cable end under hood that you can turn in or out to fine-tune this, just like a bike cable.

However, I don't think this is your problem because car can (sometimes) idle properly. Also, I don't think it's your AMM resistor; when car is warm, the ECU uses O2 sensor to adjust idle--AMM is ignored. APC is unrelated to air/fuel mixture.

Maybe it's your new injector/fpr combo. Here's my 2-cent, amateur, free-from-an-unknown-stranger-on-the-net hypothesis: you've got too much fuel going in there with your new set up. @ idle, O2 sensor sniffs this in the exhaust & ECU shortens injector pulsewidth in response. However, perhaps the ECU's shortest pulsewidth is still too much gas for a proper idle, so it only idles properly when you've got some extra electrical load (say, your headlights) which takes enough energy from the motor via the alternator to normalize the idle.

If it were my car, I'd re-install the 2.5 bar regulator and see if that fixes things. If so, then I'd get my hands on a 2.8 bar reg and try it, which will get me as close to 3.0 as possible. If the 2.8 reg works, then you're done.
