What's best for longest tranny life?

That's also what I'm thinking, having to regularly rebuild these transmissions is an expensive PITA. While I like the idea of smoother shifting I wouldn't go there if it meant earlier transmission failure due to inadequate bearing lubrication. Has there been enough experience yet with Honda MTL yet to know what it's going to do for or against long-term durability?

On the other hand, there has been a lot of long-term experience with Redline MTL at this point. I've used it myself in the past and gotten 200,000+ miles transmission life. (Though in the end a failed bearing finally ended the life of that tranny.)

When the warranty is up on my current transmission, I'll be deciding whether to use something other than 10W30 motor oil. I'm leaning towards Redline due to the previous experiences of myself and others. The Honda MTL sounds interesting, but as I said I'm a little concerned that there does not seem to be much in the way of long-term/high-mileage usage data yet.
