Hi Rich (is that right?)
noticed in Sept you were posting asking me what components i used to rebuild my engine. well i havent rebuilt it yet, but i was told to find Deeves rings (good for hi mileage engines) and Vandervell bearings.
that was for my 83 900T engine. i had about $800 of machining done to the pistons, block and head but decided not to restore my car as the rust had permeated everywhere by then. i am looking for a good car to eventually put those components in, or sell them.

well i graduated to a 16 valver and was considering rebuilding it too. i actually ordered rings and bearings from eEuroparts and was pleasantly surprised to receive Deeves rings and i believe the Vandervell bearings (in red and black boxes if i recall - they are in my basement). eEuro says they are Goetze rings but i got Deeves - figure that out.
anyway, hope that helps,
