89 SPG: two wires, one red, one orange, one has a piece of electric tape that looks like it had been connected to the other at one point - does anyone recognize these colors in this location? I noticed them as I was removing the bolt in the vicinity of the drivers door hinge (engine compartment)for the lower dash. I also noticed a tube-type (female) connector screwed to the firewall, no wire going to it. I have looked at the various wiring diagrams in Bently, but I have no good idea of were to start. The only thing that don't work on this car: auto seatbelts, idiot light for seat belts, so this is the wiring diagram I have been concentrating on. Also dangling in there is a 2-pin connector (not connected to anything) with a lavender and a brown/white wire going into it - I see the same thing in my 89 TC so I assume it is just an extra - out of curiosity, anyone know what this is/was for? Thanks for all your help past, present, and future!
