That's true, great advice. What causes the most problems is not usually the job itself, but little things like struggling with frozen nuts or bolts, dropping a screw/bolt and not being able to find it again, and not having the correct size wrench or other tool for the job. The tool thing kills me because they'll never have the tool I need at the local parts shop. Ever try to find a 7mm allen wrench?

DIY jobs can be tough if you don't have a good workspace and lack a roof over your head. The sun can be rough sometimes in the summer and sometimes you have to put everything away if it starts to rain. Obviously some folks can't work on their cars in the bitter cold of the winter. The last place I lived had a dirt driveway and it was messy being under the car and hard to find tools and nuts when they fell on the ground. DIY jobs are tough if you feel like you're racing to get the job done before the sun goes down. Once I boutht a big worklight I felt a lot better and could take my time.

It takes a lot more courage to tackle big jobs if your c900 is your only car because it's got to be finished before the next time you're due in at the office. I guess that's why a lot of us spend a month planning for the project beforehand by assembling parts and reading posts on SAABNET.COM!
