assuming your antenna is same as mine, there is a 7 mm nut on one side, holding the 'rack' in place. undo the nut, lift off the cover and the white plastic plate and you will see where the rack lives. pull out the remaining piece and reassemble.
when you load the new mast in, make sure you feed the plastic thru the relay mounting grommett first, then into the antenna motor.
touch the black lead to neg on battery, and the green/red to positive to activate the motor. have someone help you - one person on the leads, one feeding the rack into the opening (teeth towards the motor). hopefully it will pull the whole antenna in - you have to feed the mast thru the relay grommett and get it to seat all the way in.
dont touch the leads again until you have the antenna cap screwed on or it will spit the mast out completely and you are back at starting point!!!
