it had no lack of power, when the motor died it was as if the ignition key was turned off. one minute running fine,... then _ dead.
this was the main reason i was so persistent on it being an electrical issue.

when trying to start the car, the motor turned over for 4 to 6 revolutions then it fired right up, and idled very nice, no sign of a fuel shortage.

driving the car in the parking lot i did a 1st, 2ed, 3rd boost.
got to 55 mph in the matter of seconds with no sign of a problem, came to a stop and while the motor was idling i went to put the car in reverse and soon as i started to apply the gas, the motor just flat out __ dead.
no bucking or misfiring, nothing that would indicate fuel.

out of 4 days of trying to find the problem the motor only bucked once when after trying to start it.
it ran like it was firing on three cylinders. this was probably around the 3rd day of trouble shooting, and it only lasted 8 seconds then the motor flat out died. this was the only incident the motor ever gave of poor running all the other times the motor just turned over, never firing once,.. or after 4 to 5 cranks it fired right up and then run really good for the maximum of 6 minutes, didn't matter where or how hard the car was drove but with in the amount of time when the motor died it was flat out dead (just shut off).
at the end of the 4th day i was at my wits end with the car, dropped it at the Indy and left, whats great is i stopped in the shop at the end of the day to check up on their progress. seems they didn't even have time to even look at it. so while i was standing there the Indy grabs a gauge and runs out to the car (checked spark) then wired up the gauge to the fuel rail and.... it showed no pressure when the motor was turned over.
then he grabbed a tester, ran to the back of the car dug to the fuel pump and turned the motor over further indicating the pump.
6 minutes, between him and his pop they know Saabs.

after the initial dieing of the motor the car was drove 4 times for the maximum of 6 minutes.
trying to start the motor and have it idle (with out driving the car) was 7 times
for the maximum of 60 seconds.
the last time trying to start the motor it went straight into misfiring for a maximum of 8 seconds and this only happened once.

after these incidents the motor never fired up again with the bad pump.
and all instances had the motor flat out die except for the last one.
