I've been trying to figure that out for the year or two I've had my
92 C900S Convertible. One thing is it seems really sticky around corners,
even with old tires. The suspension seems to work out pretty well.
I had a golf years ago that I enjoyed driving a lot, but I remember
that if you hit bumps while cornering it got a little jumpy. Plus somehow
the steering geometry would shift as the weight shifted into a curve. The
Saab seems to have none of that. Another thing is I think you're sitting
near the center of gravity or something. Yet another plus is that since
the differential is right in the middle of the car, there isn't any
torque steer, the car stays going straight. I don't exactly know, Ideas?
