Car Talk 2/27/10 Saab Question, Wrong answer

Anyone hear Car Talk this weekend? The first question was about a 1988 Saab 900 that started running rough at about 1/2 empty (or 1/2 full if you insist). And the car was difficult to fill at the gas pump, kept shutting off the automatic shut-off almost immediately.
Tom & Ray thought maybe it was a gas tank issue and suggested the owner put his gas cap on loosely. You would think that the boys would have worked on plenty of 900s in Boston over the years, but that's not the correct repair.
This is a problem I have had several times over the years, including on a 1985 900 4dr 8v that I recently acquired.
The CORRECT repair is to replace the low pressure feed pump (Walbro?) that feeds gas into the bucket where the main, high pressure pump resides.
