I'm planning on doing the procedure you suggested, but just at a later date.. when i have the other car available that is, hopefully the spg don't burn down in the meantime. i need a drink, if worst case scenario happens and the plastic fuel line starts to split when pushing the new connector in, ill re-cut the line and re-push the new connector on. if i have to continue this process all the way to the fuel pump then fine, ill leave it sit until i can locate another fuel line. but sounds like you were able to tap the plastic fuel line with a new connection with gr8 success,. thanks
