Wow! this conversation became almost poetic !! Only love inspires such flights of fancy !
Every once in awhile, in every field of human endeavor, something comes along that hits the target so damn well it becomes a true classic. With aircraft, many would agree this is the P-51 Mustang. Maybe the Evinrude outboards of the 1960s? The Triumph Bonneville 750? Of course. One of Road & Track's fine writers said it best years ago - the car that makes you turn around and gaze at it as you walk away is special. Very special.
There is no shape or package in all motordom which does its job so well, and looks so good doing it, as the Classic 900. The car is almost human in how well it cares for its driver. I am still looking for a woman that works half as well !!!!!
