If you're handy with tools, you can buy a used shifter housing from somewhere and take it to the locksmith to get re-keyed to match your key. Then swap 'em. Re-keying is usually $30-$60 or so - then the hard part (removing & reinstalling) is up to you. If you're paying someone for the whole shebang, ~$400 seems pretty reasonable. There's several hours in labor wrapped in that number.
