My ABS was working fine for the last two years,back then I had to change the ABS Control Unit since it stopped working. Recently the AniLock light started to come up again. Usually after about 10 Min. or so. Sometimes it comes on right after staring the car in the morning and other times (rare)it start flashing codes by itself ( earlier in the year when it was cold).
After reading out the error code 1222 and looking at a code index I found online,I'm not sure how to interpret the the error. The book mentions Main Valve malfunction OR ABS Control Unit not working right. I was wondering what they mean by Main Valve? I think its the pressure valve at the ABS unit,but not certain about it, or could it be the brake line split box in the engine comopartment? The Pump does work and shut's off when the pressure is reached. Any help is apprechiated.
