I have a 900 and a 9000. Every time I switch from one to the other, I'm reminded why I love them so much. Agree, the 900 is more fun with 1 or 2, not so much with a family. If you can find a good 9000, you'll never regret it (except when you bust your knuckles replacing something or other). However, I must toss a caveat in there - the newest 9000 is over 15 years old. Be prepared for all the little things you're familiar with on the 900, anlong with a few other things. If you can't wrench it yourself, get a newer 9-5. That said, you can not beat the utility of a 9000. With the hatch, it can put most wagons to shame - and look good and go fast at the same time.
