So - looked at a 93 T yesterday in the pouring rain. Cracked windshield but nice interior and a fairly straight rust free body. The guy showing it to me said he thought it needs a new head gasket. Initially after jumping the car it seemed to be running fine. There was no coolant in the reservoir that I could see though. The exhaust initially seemed ok and then when warmed up, seemed white but I didn't notice a coolant smell ( perhaps there was only water in the system?).
Also - there seemed to be a leak around the turbo but it could have been steam from the pouring rain landing on it.
Any thoughts? Does it sound like a bad head gasket? Am I looking at a whole new head?
Thanks
BB
