Hello,
The auto trans is not fun to separate from the engine and I wouldn't do it on unless it was leaking. I would change the front crank seal and oil pump o-ring and probably the crank sensor if it is a non-turbo. I would check the "freeze" plugs on the engine carefully and change them if they look suspect but leave them alone if they look fine. Some of them are not fun to change in car. Make sure the motor mounts are good and take a good look at the steering rack while the engine is out. Good Luck, Bernie
