First off, pressurize the cold unrunning exhaust system with a shop vac (set on the pressure side) duct taped onto the tailpipe. Spray everything with soapy water and determine exactly where the leaks are. If tightening doesn't solve it, take it apart and re-assemble with Wurth or VersaChem exhaust assembly paste. Napa, O'Reilly, etc will have it. Let it sit for a couple hours in warm area or overnight until fully set and check again with the shop vac/soapy water to make sure it is sealed.
Special note: If you have emissions testing, make sure you have ZERO exhaust leaks anywhere near your engine, turbo, downpipe, O2 sensor, etc, or you will suffer from high NOx readings, especially at low rpm. A new cat will not help it either.
