Two questions...
1. On the backside of the air distribution valve is port 7 suppose to be an empty port? Is it a vent for the ventilation system?
There is a hose 7 in passenger footwell but it's connected to the recirculating solenoid and fresh air intake ports (the IN hose is also connected at both of these points but that splits off and is also connected to the IN port on the back side of the air distribution valve.
2. Where is servo hose 5 suppose to connect? On my Saab servo hose 5 travels towards the passenger compartment (right footwell) with servo hose 6 but floats freely without connection to a servo. Servo hose 6 is connected properly.
I have inspected all servos that I know of (6) with knee bolster, fascia and dashboard removed and they are indeed connected to the corresponding hose # leading to proper port on air distribution valve. (Excluding port 7 and servo hose 5).
As usual the Bentley manual is no help with vacuum diagrams.
Thanks in advance! :-)
