front end shaking on manual 1991 900S Posted by dpadgett [Email] (#1956) [Profile/Gallery] (more from dpadgett) on Wed, 8 Nov 2017 18:23:12 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I am having problems with the front end shaking when I decelerate. If i press in the clutch pedal, there is no shaking. My gear shifter shakes when I decelerate as well and it has a sight shake when driving as well. I have replaced all motor mounts since they were bad. I am also hearing a roaring sound i think as well but again the sound disappears if my press in the clutch and let the car coast. I replaced both CV axles a year ago from advance auto. Could my cv axles be bad or the intermediate bearing or the cup that the axle attaches to? I don't see any cuts or tears in the CV boots? The shaking appears to be on the passenger front side when i decelerate but again it goes away when the clutch pedal is pressed in. By the way, I have replaced all ball joints, power steering pump, rack and pinion a year ago as well. Could my tranny be going bad? Any ideas is truly appreciated.
