Yup, there's a buncha crap, but there's also a lot of gems. I have a dedicated search that I review 2-3 times a day (a sort by terms and newly listed so that I can check it in a minute or two). Some truly rare stuff, occasionally sold by people that do not understand its worth, pop up frequently.
Just last month I bought a set of brand new E-codes for about than $150-180 (I forget). Seller's description seemed excessively concerned that they did not have "SAAB" stamped on the side and described them as "aftermarket, but OK."
I mean really, I almost felt bad hitting the buy it now button - those are About $450 from eeuroparts. Similarly, I bought the holy grail a few years ago - a NOS genuine Saab heater control valve in the box (for $39!!!). Wife clearing out her husband's hoard, I guess. The picture showed the valve out of the box and the title did not describe it as new; only when you clicked on the ad, saw the other pictures and read the description/saw the pristine box could you figure out that it was a bargain.
You can set up a search to exclude items so that you don't have to look at lightbulbs, brake rotors, brake pads etc. Mine is: saab 900 -bulb -HID -rotor -pad -pads -bulbs -"seat cover" -"car cover".
Happy hunting
