OK, you need to provide more info. What we know is you got a relatively low mileage'94CE that sat for 15 years and you are now driving it with a new cat and the exhaust smells the same as before. How about telling us how you got it out of hibernation and drivable? That is, what have you done to it to put it on the road? Compression check? Complete tune-up and new ignition parts? Fluid changes including fuel tank purge? Is it running well? Why the new cat? What do you mean by backing down? I've been around engines in cars, airplanes, boats, farm equipment, industrial machines, etc for 50+ years and rotten egg smell is not typical (in my experience.) A properly running engine with a functioning Cat will have a distinctive odor which is different from a lawnmower but not a sign of exhaust valves leaking. Help us out to help you with some real information. Is there really even a problem?
