The looseness is normal and your compression is good. When running there should be a film of oil on the piston below the oil rings which keeps the slapping to a minimum. There is a timing chain wear pad attached to the underside of the valve cover that hardens over time and can give off a rattling noise. Replace it if you think your knock sensor is detecting it.
