Couldn't quite understand the question but I've found the shifter pin # 9342734 to be the damaged part in my several repairs. The 2 teeth that engage the bottom of the lock cylinder get bent or broken. In one case the the lock cylinder was fractured where the shifter pin meshes with the cylinder. Carefully note how the gear teeth are aligned upon disassembly. I found it possible to assemble it and be off a tooth and it wouldn't work. I boil the lock cylinder in water when it's out. Seems sugar from soda and coffee spills very commonly gum up the action. When it's all cleaned and lubed it has a nice feeling action.
