If you get a 1984, be advised it is more than likely a 8 valve engine unless it has been changed over.
I don't see anything budget about an 8 valve, as parts are difficult to find, as well as finding the near impossible, someone who truly understands 8 valve fuel systems in particular that could keep the dang thing running.
I would suggest you find a 1989 or 1990 model year that has had good care, and avoid the bargains, as they will turn into the opposite.
I'm not a pessimist....just been through the 8 valve thing for awhile now, and it's a difficult world to live in. Good luck on your quest. I would say if it is that remote, the term "bring a trailer" is an understatement.
