Everything Landjet Said. Unless it's free keep looking or you'll end up in a trick bag (and even then...). Personally I like the '86 through '89 turbo cars for a bunch of reasons. Lately the '86ers (flat front) are smelling better ona-counta those cheap square headlights vs. the nearly unobtainable post '86 aero headlights that always seem to get cracked or broken about one day after I install them. I kinda like LH 2.2 injection too (to two tutu), but that's just me. Look for one with a good (recently rebuilt) 5 speed and minimal oil leaks and your problems will be minimized. Removing and replacing the power unit on a C900 is the biggest job of all so if you can avoid that you're halfway home. Also, bad canvas on a convertible can get expensive to fix but interior issues (headliners, etc.) on hardtop cars are fairly easy DIY projects. I think that exhaust parts and systems are a small issue that can be handled if you are a little creative. It's just pipes, flanges, clamps and mufflers and sh*t. Compared to finding decent reverse gears for your five speed or dealing with a leaking pan gasket exhaust is a breeze. I should know...I'm exhausted.
