Agreed- MTC used to be pretty high quality. Recently, a few boxes from them had non- EU parts inside... but not all.
Dayco has been good for me so far,
and Felpro may not be an original- design part, but I've never had a poor- quality
part from them.
It's such a painful crapshoot these days- for example, a FEBI part for one car is German and very good,
while a similar part for a different model is unusable.
I try to order things beforehand, so if a formerly trusted supplier has 'outsourced'
I can try again somewhere else.
Likewise, RockAuto's prices are good, but the savings come at the cost of customer service...
