Probably a good call. The first time I ever did the clutch, I replaced the master and slave, but the hose looked good so I didn't replace that. 2-3 months later the rubber part burst at a stop light about a mile from my house. Fortunately I was in a residential neighborhood. So, I shut off the car, put it in first gear and used the starter motor to both get moving and start the engine and creep back home. Thankfully no damage, but I learned a lesson that day about systems engineering!
