Thx blacksheep. Years ago I had switched switches around and the fuse popped. This car ( a buddy's) has a plethora of cabin electrical issues. Runs great, shifts great and has a decent body. AC is empty but direct power to the clutch and the system fires right up. So the AC has potential. The rear windows run up and down just fine. The pass window worked a little. Put battery power to both front windows and they work smooth and have decent speed. I cleaned both front switches. Tried different front switches. Pulled the white and black 152 multi plugs and don't see any corrosion. Cleaned ground #117 at the handbrake .The car appears relatively unmolested. Then there is the instrument cluster-the fuel gauge, battery light and speedo work. No tach, temp gauge, indicator lights, cluster or HVAC switch lights. So question: It's my vague recollection that the 89 instrument cluster is a one year only. Is that right ?
