Hello,
I believe you are describing the LH "main relay" and the fuel pump relay. The main relay powers up the LH control unit and the fuel pump relay. The LH control unit supplies the ground to the fuel pump relay and then the fuel pump gets powered. I don't have a wiring diagram with me. But can't remember were exactly the overboost sensor connects into the fuel pump relay. But overboost sensor can shut power off to the fuel pump as well. It is run through 2 single wire connectors that connect there as well. It is either on the way to the fuel pump or it interupts the signal on the way to the relay. If I get to a wiring diagram I can explain it better. But you can try connecting the overboost sensor wires to take it out of the equation. I can't remember if they use the same relay but the main relay is a double pull relay so it powers both 87 and 87a when it is powered. I think it is a 30 Amp relay. For the fuel pump relay it may be a double pull but is only using the one. So you might be able to find a 4 pin relay that will work for it such as the horn relay. Good Luck, Bernie
