I would send a register letter to the dealership speaking of the problem, listing when you had discussed it with them, and the resultant responses that they all gave you. It becomes a legal document and should give you an assist when you call the weasel up when it starts screeching! You have filed a complaint before the warranty is gone so the onus falls upon them to fix. Maybe we have some bottom feeders (lawyers) that can give better advice. They can't be toooo bad since they are Saabers.

Keep us posted Julia. I've had my blower go out and it was a squealing banshee at times. They just get lots of hours of run time on them as the comfort machine we drive likes to run it full time unless you shut is down or program it to not come on upon startup. G'd Luck!
