It might be that someone put that one in not knowing OR Posted by SWEDECAR [Email] (#112) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SWEDECAR) on Fri, 2 May 2003 15:07:38 In Reply to: Between Hooter and Y connector lays, Pierre in Canada, Fri, 2 May 2003 11:53:13 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
it might be for the rare 90 9000T that came equipped with EGR system.
I have only seen a couple of 90 9000 with the EGR system on, and I don't know in what configuration or market that they were released.
I ones checked with Saab to see if they had a recall for the EGR on 1990 9000T (like the California recall for 1990 900T) but it was no recall that they knew about.
Do you have the full EGR hook up with an electric solenoid valve on the left side of false fire wall? And a black vacuum tank somewhere in the engine compartment with vacuumhoses going to?
It might be in that case that someone have disconnected the EGR valve and blocked of the valve.
Just my 2 cents
Anders
