I used to hate having to pres the econ button as well. Here's what I did. I took an AC button from a 900, stuck it in the switch blank by the seat heaters (perfect fit), and wired it between the wire going from the ACC to the AC compressor. Now it stays in auto, but won't engauge the AC unless the new button is pressed. Other than that, I find it to be a good system in the winter and only slightly annoying in the summer when I prefer windows down.

I quite like the window switches, though many do find them "backwards." I don't switch cars often, so maybe I'm used to it. You can tell back from front easily by feel because one of them has a ridge across the middle.

Over all these are pretty small issues I think, though I guess the little things can add up. The Bimmer has no quirks?

Want the Saab to look sportier? Try some nice wheels (Aeros, 5-spokes, aftermarket, etc.). They really liven up the looks and come up at reasonable prices on the classifieds and eBay from time to time. Oh, and put Back to Black or equivelent on the bumpers if they are faded, the car looks much better.
