If there is nothing going to and from the purge valve at all... then you've got a 50/50 chance of conecting it right! Which isn't bad at all!

I've been thinking about the diagram i found for you, and i've decided that IF the sensor had a ground to the chassis, it would have shown that very specifically. Since it did not, i stand by my original assumption, that pin 27 of the ECU is the grounding point...

Maybe I'm wrong, but i think it would be "easy" to tap a small gauge wire into the pin, or maybe the main harness itself... and run it directly to the purge valve....

...then you'd do the same from pin 2 of the main relay... which i'm not sure what that looks like, but you might be able to ask someone else about that...

...anyways.... i am almost positive from looking at the diagrams that is what you need sent to the valve....

...how like i said before, hooking it up is a 50/50 chance. You might be able to tell from looking at the valve itself...

actually scratch that, by looking at the picture below... i can see the connector type that goes to the purge valve... it's one og thos e block connectors.... BUT you MIGHT be in luck... if they just cut the wires and you have some wire stubs hanging off it... they'd be color coded...

you should check and post your results... if there is NOTHING there to give you a hint, then i don't think that hooking up the wires the wrong way would hurt anything, it just won't open...
