After about 9 months of various tinkering and fixing the obvious, I put the new to us '93 9000 CSET on the road Thursday. Today I drove it up to Dolmetsch Motors in Bennington to have a look at the TCS LHM issue. He cleared all of the codes a few times and calibrated the system and she fired right up without the dreaded LHM. All was fine except a base boost issue (more likely LESS than base boost). This I can handle. Paul told me it was likely the wastegate and I should look at it when all cools down. Sure enough, the rod came off the wastegate and she was stuck closed. Fixed that and it had more boost but not more than base. So, knowing how common BPC solenoid failure is, I decided to change that out with a know good one. VOILA! She flies! Boosts into red (I installed an Aero ECU in it). Now, unfortunately, I have to turn it over to my wife. I may just have to look for a clean Aero for myself. My thanks to Paul!
