New to the 9000 family. I looked at a very nice 1992 9000S today. I will test drive it tomorrow, hopefully. It is at a reputable, local dealership (their address in listed on TSN) stuck in the back corner of their storage area. It has 108K miles on it and is a 5-speed. I'm told everything works, and I saw that the interior and exterior are both a 9 out of 10. I wasn't able to hear it run due to a dead battery. I trust the dealer that it is in excellent working order. He will make it 100% inspectable in NY before it leaves the shop. Can someone tell me if the Blue Book value is close for retail value, or do they normally run high? (Around $4500.00). The dealer is asking $3900.00 and will negotiate. I usually like to keep a second car on hand and for winter driving. This would be perfect. I always wanted to try a 9000 after eight 900 models and counting. I just got rid of a 1990 900S on eBay. I just thought I'd toss this out there for some advice before pursuing. Thanks for your help.
