'88 9kt

Well, I spent a long time DYI'ng a new blower motor. My Saab is getting a little old to keep pouring $600 jobs into...

Ok- I hooked up everything, and no motor at all. Brand new motor, totally dead. I ran the diagnostic and it came up 2 (7C and AU).

Then I wired the motor to the battery and the fan came on. It was pouring faint amounts of warm air into the cabin. (I wired it poorly, so maybe that it why it wasn't blasting.) While it was hardwired, I got 2U, 7C, AU.

What, oh what is going on?

Here are some things about the job that might be helpful:

1. The false bulkead (fake firewall, aquarium, whatever) is still off-- I didn't think I needed to put it on to test the job.

2. I went in by taking out the wiper motor and evaporator housing. I was a little persuasive with the evaporator, but don't think I broke anything.

I realize that there is a lot that can be going on here... I just have no idea how to troubleshoot this whole thing, and get it going again.
