That's great information - thanks. And that's a beautiful looking car - guard's red is a great color when it's shined up like that.
I do most of the work on my cars myself, so that should keep the ownership costs reasonable.
I do have a coupe of questions. Did most of them come with the LSD? I'm assuming it was a factory option, and that it's quite a desirable feature - true?
Have you taken it on the race track? I'd really like to do some HPDE days on the track in one and judging from the number of 944's and 951's I've seen at these things, they are a very good track car. I'm sure the N/A 944 is a lot of fun on the track (I think I'm more into trying to wring the most out of low HP engines by improving driving skills, rather than out and out speed, which frankly, at a certain point, scares the pants off me), but on the road I'm concerned it will be somewhat slower than my Stage 3 9kCSE - hence the desire for the turbo.
About $10k seems the going rate for a well sorted 951 - agree? Being reasonably mechanically inclined, I guess I could pick something up for less, but I spend enough time wrenching on cars and would rather pay a small premium for something that doesn't need major work.
