First of all. The person saying that "Basically every part that could be replaced was replaced" is wrong.
Only certain wear parts gets replaced and it is all up to each rebuilder what they see and determine being needed, that they replace.
Many and most parts stay the same.
If a rebuilder knows his stuff, the transmission would probably last about the same as the old one and sometimes longer did but it is no real guarantees for that since an unknown part might just suddenly give out.
Even if every bearing, clips, syncro ring and gear would be replaced during the rebuild (crazy way of doing it) it is no guarantees that one of the new gears doesn't have a material defect hidden inside that will make it break off a tooth at some point.
