Did you notice that the screw heads on the 900 have a funny looking lines 45-degrees from the main slots? These are Pozidriv(R) screws and while somewhat compatible with Philips drivers, there are some differences. There are tools made specifically for Pozidriv use, and they supposedly work better than a normal Philips driver, but I have never owned one so I can't comment on this.
Philips screw heads were actually developed to slip at a certain applied torque; when using a power driver in production-line assembly, this prevents over-torquing and snapping bolts. The converse of this is that they slip easily when trying to loosen a rusted-in screw, i.e. repairing your car.
