Wow 297K and almost 36 MPG! My '88 9000 Carlsson has less than half that mileage and just keeps getting better and better mileage as I put more and more miles on it!??? It's stone stock although it came with the Saab tuning kit (010 distributor, 2.8 fuel pressure regulator and Red APC). All I've done to it other than general maintenance is have Dr. Erik P. upgrade the Red APC and one of my latest Adjustable Ignition Diaphragms. Other than rings and valves sealing better I feel it's a lot because until a new timing chain is installed the cams are retarded just enough to make a turbo engine even more efficient. Guess I'll know for sure when I replace the timing chain!
