Yeah it makes no sense. Eliminated the problem by getting rid of the reverse lockout. Did that, relubed the shift ball and all is well. Not the right way but my paitence is running out. Took the easy way out for sure but getting to that coupler is a bitch. Actually shifts great now too.
Screw that lockout.
