On a TCS car you have to differentiate between the gas pedal position sensor and throttle body sensors.
The Tech 2 is a little bit muddy and depending on if you look inside Trionic or ETS computers. I'm not sure the throttle body sensors can be viewed inside Trionic.
I'm rusty now and don't remember exactly but the throttle body sensors are not sending true signals with engine off since the throttle body is in rest state and working off the throttle cable alone. It's an intricate relationship inside throttle body between the vacuum activated linkage/throttle cable and the electric motor activated butterfly.
