Just the clock and info cluster on the dash.
Power locks not connected. Such a bizarre happening. Here's what's interesting:
1. Prior to this happening there was a parasitic drain on battery and it would go dead and I would jump it to get started again.
2. I replaced the battery and the problem persisted and we did a test removing fuses one at a time to discover the drain - we found the radio fuse to indicate the problem.
3.We then determined that the factory amp under passenger seat was not working so I lived with the problem and parked car after use and disconnected radio fuse to avoid drain.
4. Then about a week later I armed the alarm in a parking lot and used key fob to open door locks
and alarm went off and disarmed the starting function to car.
5.Alarm module was culprit so we replaced that with a used one and reprogrammed key fob.
6.Replaced amp as well and everything works fine save for the fact that when I arm the car and then reopen with key fob it shorts the radio fuse. Not each and every time but more like one out of five.
7.So mystified.
Somehow I think the battery drain was all along connected to the alarm module going bad and the radio fuse is the "tell." But what is the connection here?
